Australia also announces sanctions on Russia

Russia, along with the United States, Britain, the European Union, Germany and Canada, has announced that it will impose sanctions on Russia over its recognition of Ukraine’s two separatist regions as independent states. He said that immediate sanctions would be imposed on those responsible for Russia’s actions against Ukraine. It also said that travel and financial sanctions would be imposed on Russia. It is believed that Russian President Vladimir Putin, while addressing the nation yesterday, had recognized the two territories of Ukraine as independent. Vladimir Putin also accused Ukraine of preparing for the genocide in Donetsk and Luhansk and of not complying with the Minsk agreement.
