“NAB should not harass traders”

(Khuda Ki Basti Sources)The Supreme Court has said that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) should refrain from harassing the traders. During the hearing, the NAB counsel took the position that the accused had caused a loss of Rs. 16 crore to the national exchequer in the milk and biscuit contract. After that, the accused made a plea bargain and returned Rs. 120.41 million out of the total amount. Later, the Lahore High Court removed his name from the ECL.

He directed the NAB to auction Hussain’s property and collect the remaining amount and disposed of the appeal to include the name of the accused in the ECL.
